Paint can do amazing things to your home and is also one of the easiest and cheapest ways to enhance that first impression. Fresh paint makes your house look clean, bright and inviting.
Some tips to remember when choosing paint colors:
* Not everyone is going to love the same color scheme that you love -- keep the colors simple and neutral. White, off white and brown tones seem to work best for most buyers.
* When buying paint, start out with buying just a quart of paint. Samples are not always a true representation of what they will look like once they are on your walls. Make sure to match your paint color tones with your surroundings: furniture, flooring, cabinets etc.
* Be careful. Don't paint in a hurry. Painting takes time and patience. Try and do the best job you can do. Buyers love to be able to just move in and not have to worry about re-painting.
